About Me

I’m a freelance web developer, currently living in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, who’s been working professionally as a developer since 2000. I’ve been a full-time freelancer since 2008 and I’m still passionate about it.

I honed my development chops while living and working in St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as the British Virgin Islands. Those islands sure are good teachers.

For five years I worked for the Government of Canada which I left to dedicate myself to freelancing.

About My Prior Work

I take pride in offering quality work at a fair price. I believe that each project deserves to be completed with integrity and expertise regardless of budget or size.

Much of my work is sub-contracted by web designers and agencies. Subsequently, I don’t have a large collection of portfolio items that I can display on my own site. However, if you contact me, I can give you a list of references (repeat clients) who will stand by my work.

Other Stuff

I’m also a guitarist, singer and songwriter who’s in the process of recording in my home-based studio. With any luck, this will turn into my first proper collection of publicly available songs. Please stay tuned: like good food, good songs take time.

In the past, I’ve been a member of The Taumcats, Sister Roger Moonshine and the Pierre Legault Band.

As a solo artist, I’ve performed and recorded under several pen names: Pissenlit, The Chinaskis (named so before the better known ones) and Nikola Lickson being but a small sampling of them.

Venues played include: Barrymores Music Hall, The Manx, Lieutenant Poolies, The Blues Cafe, The Upstairs Club, The Timothy Beach Resort and a quaint little church in New Castle on the beautiful island Nevis .
